The Rose Show

There must be a flower market in Heaven and it smells exactly like The Floral Reserve in Providence during their Rose Show. Stepping into the studio at 1 Sims Ave, you aren't just entering a flower market; you’re walking into a living gallery.

While we often think of roses in terms of the classic red bouquet, this show reminds us that roses are so much more than classic . With over 300 kinds of roses on display (color-coded, swoon), the sheer range of textures and colors puts imagination to shame. The show goes far beyond the standard, featuring:

Powder Puff

Charming rose known for its rounded, fluffy appearance resembling the vintage cosmetic tool.

Valentina

Romantic long-stem rose spray with petals that resemble ruffles.  With multiple flowers on a single stem it acts as a miniature bouquet .

Happy Birthday

Cheerful flower with a golden-apricot center that fades to a pink with a fruity fragrance.

Sushi

Sharing a name with the Japanese culinary art, this rose known for its unique bicolor (two-toned) petals and picotee edge.  Note the center of the rose a creamy white and the very outer edges of the petals a cherry blush.

The Floral Reserve’s collaborative, industrial-chic space provides the perfect backdrop for the delicate femininity of the roses. As a wholesale hub that caters to the "discerning floral artist," the atmosphere is one of creativity and professional artistry. Founder, Semia Dunne, expressed the reasoning behind this show is simple-inspiration.
